EVMC Laboratory serves dual functions: Diagnosis and Research. The laboratory offers a vast range of testing panels to support EVMC clinicians and external veterinarians to efficiently diagnose a wide range of diseases affecting horses. The test portfolio of the diagnostic laboratory is constantly increasing and international accreditation for majority of these tests is under process.

Ambulatory Services

Bringing a horse to the hospital can be a challenge for owners with limited mobility, restricted transportation, or commitments at home that make outside activities difficult. And let’s face it-some horses just don’t trailer well enough to travel. In our continuing efforts to offer the best veterinary care to all of our clients and their horses, we are pleased to offer ambulatory services to care for your horse. Our ambulatory service provide on-the-farm routine and emergency healthcare for your horses.

Routine healthcare services provided include:

Physical examination
Vaccination
Parasite control
Nutritional consultation
Dentistry.

In addition to routine healthcare, the ambulatory service provides:

Lameness and performance evaluation
Podiatry
Evaluation of medical conditions (respiratory, skin, neurologic, gastrointestinal, and ophthalmic)
Field surgery services (laceration repair, mass removals, etc.).

The service is equipped with a digital radiography system, ultrasound, upper airway and gastric endoscopy, rehabilitation equipments, and motorized dental equipment. We also have access to additional in-house equipment and full access to EVMC laboratory services. Any more complex cases can be referred quickly to our hospital where your horse will have direct access to our specialist clinicians, equipment and facilities.
