Laboratory Technician – Serology
Position Summary/Responsibilities
- Receive and process clinical samples for diagnostic testing.
- Set-up, validate and perform tests or assays such as but not limited to Virus neutralization test, complement fixation tests, ELISA, virus propagation and purification, virus titration, cell culture etc.
- Actively work in other laboratory sections to perform various tests such as bacterial and fungal culturing, PCR, Hematology & Biochemistry etc.
- Interpret the data and summarize results for reporting.
- Identify and implement creative solutions to overcome problems.
- Maintain all logs, forms, records, and other documents in compliance to ISO 17025:2017.
- Serve as a resource to provide scientific information needed for various initiatives.
- Flexibility to work overtime or other shifts depending on business needs.
- Other reasonable tasks as assigned by supervisor
